ENGLISH DIAGNOSTIC TEST 2026

Anglistik/Amerikanistik

The 2026 diagnostic test for ‘Erstis’ of Anglistik will take place on 

Wednesday, 14th of October 2026.

The test will be administered as a Moodle interactive task, to be completed in a single attempt within a time-limit of 70 minutes. Access to the test will be made available between 08:00 and 18:00 (so candidates should access the test no later than 16:50!).

Students of the English/American Studies department should make sure that they enroll in the “Anglistik/Amerikanistik” group in the Diagnostic Test 2026 moodle course.

Please self-enroll as soon as this information is updated, as we will use the Moodle announcements feature to keep you informed of any updates.

Kindly note that this test must be taken by all Anglistik ‘Erstis’ as an administrative requirement connected with your Grammar 1 [English Language 1] credits. However, the score obtained in the test will be of a strictly diagnostic value only; even a very weak score will have no practical consequences for your study programme.
